(also don't forget to get ffmpeg and put it in the path. and mosh pro, and da vinci resolve, and make a new public key for linode/github) on windows machines i use gitbash to get a unix like environment but it doesn't come with rsync, which is what i got used to using before i started using windows. to fix this: put rsync and dll in gitbash's /usr/bin so i can use rsync...probably wanna update path too but i don't seem to have on this computer so maybe its optional? 8/29/2026 p.s. my shitty laptop only lasted two years, worst computer i've ever owned. hate setting new environments up
