kinda tempted to post the diary entry from 9/11/2001 tbh, what a wild ride seeing it plastered on the back of a spiral bound notebook

okay so, i went back upstairs and grabbed the 9/11 shit.

i feel like i gotta clarify stuff?

i think the us vastly overreacted and fucked up a lot of shit (especially for muslim folks) , almost like an auto immune disorder. 

but the date caught my eye when i was glancing at the back of the diary, where i had a sort of table of contents... and

well

zampanio is about legacy for me.

i'm going to try to keep the website alive as long as i can, past my own death, if i can. 

one day, someone will be digging and digging and digging and they'll find this and for one, its a date they might recognize, and be curious about. imagine finding actual historical documents in your hee hee hoo hoo unreality arg.

but also? its one of the few bits in past me's diary that isn't gonna dox me or remind me how shit my mom was, you know?

its mostly focused outwards, not inwards. 

9/11 was scary, even if you didn't buy all the propaganda. the uncertainty was the problem, just like the early days of the pandemic. 

so... uh. i guess what im saying is. 

poor past me was doing their best. be kind?


also, it is OBJECTIVELY funny that past me is all "scary things happened that are making me think of the broader world in ways that are uncomfortable. also, dragon ball z  is airing live right now and i am excited about this".

That's why they're here after all, right?

hell, half the reason im adding this history type diary scan is because its FUNNY to imagine how much its fits that arg pattern. "ooo ominous diary"
